Sleep apnea (and associated snoring) is a serious medical condition that limits oxygen to the brain due to closure of the throat during sleep. It can cause sleepiness, hypertension, heart attack and stroke. At Viva Dental Victoria, we strongly believe in screening for sleep apnea and providing snore guards where appropriate.
